In a single lane conveyor, the conveyor is driven at a 90 degree bend section while for a double lanes, it is driven at 180 degree bend section. In a combination profile, the 180 degree section will be used since it able to pull higher load and better performance.
Underneath the frame is mounted a gearmotor to pull the chain. Even though 3 phase gearmotor could deliver more torque to drive the system, but power supply at the outlet normally is set as single phase. In order to use 3 phase gearmotor a control panel with general frequency inverter which is expensive.
